Founded in 1958 by the Ghanaian Baptist Convention and the International Mission Board, the Baptist Medical Center is located in Nalerigu in the Northern Region of Ghana. Since its inception, it is estimated that over 3 million patients have been seen at the hospital and around 70 churches have been planted. There are 123 beds in 7 wards including medical, OB/GYN, surgical, ICU, pediatric, isolation and TB.

We will be serving as self-supported volunteers and have already been amazed at the affirmation we have received from God during this process. The kids are ecstatic! We recognize that, over the last few years, God has been preparing us all for this through our family’s mission involvement in Ukraine, Bulgaria and Greece.
